WILCO lubricant applicators aid in the wire drawing process by smearing a large amount of lubricant on the surface of rod or wire before entering the drawing die. A larger amount of lubricant ensures a smoother and more efficient drawing operation.
Lubricant applicators are used mainly with solid lubricants, but can be used with high viscosity wet lubricants such as light greases and oils. There are two models to cover a wide range of diameters, and are very easy to install.
AZ-Wipe Spiral wire brushes are designed to noticeably reduce the amount of calamine, rust, lubricant residue or any coating on the wire surface, improving its drawability. They are usually installed before the initial step of the drawing process, but thanks to the great variety of brushes, they can be installed in virtually any point in the process: along the drawing line, on a cleaning line, before or after a furnace, or before a welder.
